Abrasive Water-Jet

A water jet cutter is a tool capable of slicing into metal or other materials using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. The process is essentially the same as water erosion found in nature but greatly accelerated and concentrated. It is often used during fabrication or manufacture of parts for machinery and other devices. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures generated by other methods.

Laser Cutting

This technology uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used for industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut typically leaving a clean edge finish.

Plasma Cutting

A process that is used to cut steel and other metals of different thicknesses (or sometimes other materials) using a plasma torch. In this process, an inert gas is blown at high speed out of a nozzle; at the same time an electrical arc is formed through that gas from the nozzle to the surface being cut, turning some of that gas to plasma. The plasma is sufficiently hot to melt the metal being cut and moves sufficiently fast to blow molten metal away from the cut.

Cut to Length Shearing

Also known as die cutting, this metalworking cuts stock without the formation of chips or the use of burning or melting. We can uncoil sections of flat-rolled steel and cut them into a desired length. Product that is cut to length is normally shipped flat-stacked. The most commonly sheared materials are in the form of sheet metal or plates, however rods can also be sheared.

Forging

A process of working metal to a finished shape by hammering or pressing and is primarily a “hot” operation. It is applied to the production of shapes either impossible or too costly to make by other methods or needing properties not obtainable by casting. Categories of forgings include Hammer, Press, Drop or Stamping.

Packaging

The process in which we provide protective packaging material used to protect products throughout the entire transportation and distribution environment. Export packing is done to ISPM-15 requirements

Ultrasonic Testing

We offer value added testing for to the various AMS and MIL specs.
